STAGE 05 · ETHICAL SALES & ENROLMENT

Three Potential Client Role-Play Scenarios

In Stage 5, candidates demonstrate their commercial and ethical readiness not through traditional sales closing techniques, but by helping prospective clients explore mutual fit, understand required commitments, and make an unpressured choice.

Provisional Curriculum Notice: In accordance with the user instructions, this page offers a preview overview of the three potential role-play clients. Detailed interactive simulation prompts, dialogue flows, and assessor rubrics will be authored in the next phase of work.
Client 01

Eleanor Vance

The Restless Senior Partner

A 54-year-old equity partner in a commercial law firm. High earnings, immense prestige, but experiencing profound exhaustion and asking whether the next decade should look like the last. She is wary of “airy-fairy life coaching” and wants clear evidence.

The Coaching Test:

Explain the intellectual grounding of Lifework without academic jargon, discuss fee structures with total composure, and respect her professional scepticism.

Client 02

David Chen

The Mid-Career Crossroads Seeker

A 38-year-old tech product lead whose company recently went through restructuring. He has dozens of LinkedIn recruiter messages but fears jumping into another role that drains his energy. He wants speed, but Lifework requires 2–3 hours of deliberate reflection.

The Coaching Test:

Hold the deliberate slowness of Lifework as a vital virtue rather than an obstacle. Help David see why a quick personality test will not give him the answer he needs.

Client 03

Clare Beaumont

The Hesitant Career-Changer

A 46-year-old returning to the workplace after eight years of family care and voluntary leadership. She feels her skills are obsolete and lacks confidence. She is vulnerable to being over-sold coaching packages that she may not be emotionally ready for.

The Coaching Test:

Demonstrate the ethical “not now” or structured pacing. Assess readiness with compassion, avoid high-pressure enrolment, and safeguard her psychological well-being.
